It's really only good if you're simulating air pressure, because the retarder lets you slow down without using the brakes and wasting air. For a full stop, use the air brakes. For going down a good grade or slowing down, use the retarder. I only use the retarder and engine brake.
Hello, In ETS2/ATS there are several "types" of brakes. Regular, engine brakes, retarder, air brakes. If I turn automatic engine brake/retarder, simulated air brakes - how do they work? I mean as I understand it, Regular is just pressing "s" Engine brakes, is shift gear down. but when the transmission is automatic, how? β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯ is that stick (buses have it too) Aiir Brakes, I guess
Since Update 1.28 I noticed that when I use the retarder (I assigned a button of my XBox Controller for adjusting and lowering the retarder) the engine brake also is used. λ‘κ·ΈμΈ μμ ν νμ λκΈ°μ΄ μ° λͺ©λ‘ ν¬μΈνΈ μμ λ΄μ€ ν΅κ³
If you have air brake simulation disabled then it won't affect anything. If it's enabled then you may have reduced braking performance. If your air pressure goes very low then your parking brake will engage as air pressure actually keeps brakes disengaged on trucks.
- copy the file with the extension .scs in My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator/mod folder - start the game, go to your profile, see the Mod manager and activate the mod. Tags: High , Quality , Dashboard , 2021 , DAF 2021 XG , DAF 2021 XG+ , ETS2 , Truck , Simulator , 1.41 , interior , 1.42 , 1.43
Euro Truck Simulator 2. A Little Idea On Retarder Setting. This is really unimportant but i have a question. In real life, as most of you know, the retarder can be activated in full power by just pushing the lever all the way down by one basic move. But in the game we have to press, let's say, 4 times seperately to get the full power.
To disable player damage and collision on your ETS2 or ATS server, you will need to open your server's Truck Simulator Server Settings file and set Player
