Bluetooth audio streaming on 2010 Mondeo. I'm looking for some help with this. I have a 2010 ford Mondeo, it's got the Ford converse system and the Sony 6 disc in dash head unit. Bluetooth for calling works fine. So I've been looking on the forums and it was suggested that I needed to get a later model Bluetooth module for the car.
I bought a cheap and cheerful bluetooth dongle v2.1 to use with Torque or Forescan on my phone but it just won't connect. Mustn't be compatible. Any recommendations for dongles that anyone has used, or would I be better with one of the usb cable types to use with a laptop? My Mondeo is 2009 2l Tdci.
Enable bluetooth on your phone. 2. In the BT option on your phone look for 'new bt devices'. 3. When 'ford audio' is found it will ask for connection code. 4. Punch in 0000 (that's 4 times zero) That should autobond your phone to your vehicle.. Mondeo MK4 MY 2009.5.
93 posts · Joined 2004. #2 · Jun 26, 2005. Its a factory fitted connection. It will work with any sound devices that will output to the right size jack plug (3.5 mm I think). When you select the aux button on the stereo it should work (also by using the steering control to scroll between CD, Radio and AUX Input).
