Hi all, I have seen quite a few messages regarding the same issue that I am having and it looks like cameras have been replaced but I wanted to know if anybody had found a way to get the camera working again without replacing it. The rear screen shows all the icons In my situation I am using a Samsung Evo Plus 128gb, which is shown on the compatible list with the Hero 7 Black. I have a Sessions 4 GoPro and even though it's not on the compatible list for that, the card is detected and works fine, so there is definitely an issue with this Samsung Evo Plus card with the Hero 7.

Make sure your GoPro is in Pairing Mode and try again. You can also try rebooting your GoPro: press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, release it, and then follow the on-screen instructions to try again." Rebooting as per above just resets the GoPro and I'm back to square one.
Hero7 black issues. I am new to this site. I have a Hero7 black that I bought in 2018. Ihave had all kinds of issues so I just put it in the dresser with frusteration. I tried to start using it again video recording yesterday on a trip. It worked fine for a couple of scenes of video then it started taking a ton of jpeg snap shots.
Charge the GoPro by using provided USB connector and plugging it into a computer. You can also use the GoPro wall or automobile charger. If the GoPro still does not charge, please use the microSD/Micro USB Port Assembly Replacement guide to replace your assembly. A poor connection inside the Micro USB port may prevent your GoPro from charging.
My GoPro hero 7 black won’t turn on. The camera turned on the morning but is not working right now. Tried restarting with battery, without battery (with power bank), with SD and without SD. When plugged in it doesn’t even turn red signaling it is charging. Is my GoPro dead or is there something I can do?
Bought a GoPro Hero 7 Black recently and I'm facing issues when controling the camera from the Gopro app. Very often when I'm in video mode and camera is connected to the GoPro app on my phone, at first I have the preview and all seems to work properly but after a few secs I lose the preview (only shows a black screen). To do this, press the Mode button on your camera for ten seconds. Release a few seconds, then press the Mode button again (normally this time) to attempt to turn your camera back on. This action activates the "bug-free forced restart" of your GoPro. If your Hero 7 still won't turn on, continue to the next step.

i used my hero 9 last oct 30 without waterproof case during snorkling not lasting for 1 hr. then i noticed that the lcd screen having flickering screen when i opened it that night. oct 31, the lcd screen is not working anymore. but the gopro is still functioning and recording. - GoPro Camera There is a small button on the bottom left of the screen you can press.that's the on/off for the screen. If that doesn't work, go to setup by the front of your gopro then press mode once to take you to the touch display option. Next go to the 4th option (disp power) and press the capture button to change the seeing to on. .
