E39 Buyers Guide:
Here's what I've done so far: 1-Check all the fuses on the face of the front fuse panel behind the glove box as well as the fuses that are in the electronics box where the DME is located. 2-Check the 2 large fuses (250a & 50a or 80a) in the rear near the battery (fuses 106 & 109 i believe) 3-I replaced all the relays in the car. Nowhere can I find the relay which supposedly is a light green plug with markings ++0452 / 52c. Not able to find a diagram either which shows the exact location for the plug for my model and how to access it. Hoping to first check if this $20 plug is the fault, before having car towed to BMW for what will most likely be a $2-3k repair.
